Our Story

The Timeline

A long long time ago - high school and college athlete

A long time ago - yo-yo'd the hell out of fit to fat and back.

April 2012/November 2012 - Started CrossFitting© which changed my life. I have been doing it a minimum of 5 days a week for the last 10 years.  At 50 years old I am fitter than I have ever been.  

June 2014 - December 2015 - General managed, programmed and coached at the gym I was attending along with it's sister gym.

January 1, 2016 - June 30, 2020 - CrossFit© Gym Owner

July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021 - The Box Co-op Owner

July 1, 2021 -Present - The Box HTX Owner 

What is The Box?

It is a space for those who would are drawn to (GPP) General Preparedness Programming or functional fitness.  Members have the option to train on their own or take classes with experienced instructors.  

Classes are kept under 10 athletes

We offer early morning and evening classes.  Check out our daily schedule here.

What is our Why?

As a member we will ask you the same question, so it is only fair you know ours.  We do this because we absolutely thrive on helping good people become the most bad ass version of themselves.  The human body is a phenomenal organism and finding out how capable we can be is one of the most rewarding and inspiring parts of this journey called life.
